The EAASI Summit, organized by the European Association of Aerial Surveying Industries, took place this year in Dubrovnik and once again confirmed that the European aerial surveying community stands strong together. The event offered several days of expert discussions, workshops, and knowledge sharing across companies and countries. The main focus was on the further development of the industry, data quality, and a coordinated approach to legislative and technological challenges.
PRIMIS was represented at the summit by Patrik Meixner, Marta Meixnerová, Head of Production Mária Budayová, and EAASI Young Ambassador and laser scanning specialist Martin Sadílek. Participation across both management and production highlights the company’s long-term involvement in the association’s activities and its ongoing commitment to professional development.
EAASI brings together companies and professionals engaged in the acquisition of geodata from crewed airborne platforms. The association’s mission is to represent the industry at the European level, promote common standards, and create space for cooperation among its members. The summit is where these objectives are translated into concrete discussions and decisions.
The program also included an Extraordinary General Meeting, during which a new leadership of the association was elected. Patrik Meixner was elected to the EAASI Board and will therefore directly contribute to shaping the future direction of the organization. This represents an important milestone not only personally, but also for Czech representation within the European professional community and for PRIMIS. You can view all EAASI Board members here.
Being elected to the Board means active participation in strategic decisions that influence business conditions in the aerial surveying sector across Europe. This involvement in EAASI leadership also confirms the long-standing expertise and the reputation that PRIMIS has built within the international environment.
