Tomáš, our new colleague, was on an internship at AVT ZT GmbH, our partner company, in the summer months of 2019. The internship at AVT was an excellent opportunity for him to gain new insights and experience from people who work in the same field and also to practice a foreign language. The opportunity to try out all kinds of adrenaline activities available in the surroundings was just a pleasant bonus.
During his stay, Tomáš tried out many different types of projects, inter alia
- Calculation of calibration boresight parameters and resulting EO in IGI-AeroOffice and in GrafNav
- Processing of aerotriangulation in the Trimble environment (Inpho)
- Editing of seamlines
- Flight planning in Topoflight and IGIplan
- Output quality control in GlobalMapper
- Processing of oblique photographs in the Trimble environment (Inpho) with subsequent implementation into the web service
He also took part in several trips with the department of engineering geodesy to the Ischgl ski resort, where they measured cableways and deformations and built a point field.
