ČÚZK 2015 – 2020
As part of the periodic updating of the orthophotomap for the purposes of the State Map Series, half of the territory of the Czech Republic is newly photographed and processed each year. Since 2015, our company has also participated in the photographing of the Czech Republic for the needs of the State Administration of Land Surveying and Cadastre (ČÚZK).
In the years 2015-2017, we took photographs of the territory covering an area of approximately 32,300 km2. We took images with 60 % longitudinal overlap and 30 % transversal overlap at 25cm per pixel in 2015, later at 20 cm per pixel.
After a break in 2018, we again took images in 2019, namely of about a quarter of the total area (10,000 km2) planned for this year.
Thanks to the purchase of a new aviation camera by Vexcel Imaging – the UltraCam Eagle Mark 3 – we will be able to take images of the required area with much smaller pixel (12.5 - 13.5 cm) and at lower flight hours in 2020. We will cover territory of an area of 9,499 km2.
