On 14th February 2017, the Institute of Planning and Development of the City of Prague (IPR Prague) published the so-called Story Map, where you can see not only an aerial view of war Prague, but the application is also accompanied by comments on individual damaged objects and photos from the archive of IPR Prague.

“At the very end of World War II, even Prague was not spared extensive damage and even casualties. It became a target of three aerial bombings; first on 15th November 1944, then on 14th February 1945 and finally on 25th March 1945. The raids on Prague resulted in more than 1,200 casualties and the following quarters were mainly damaged: Nové Město, Holešovice, Smíchov, Vršovice, Vinohrady, Žižkov, Libeň, Kbely, Letňany and Čakovice.”
